Development Opportunities
The Human Resource Development Unit offers a range of in-house training opportunities for research assistants, post-docs and doctoral students, professors, and technical and administrative staff. Employees can also take advantage of the training offered by the Bremen State Training and Continuing Education Center (AFZ).

The Workplace Heath Management Office (BGM) offers many ways to stay fit and healthy - for example the "movement break," discounts on university sports and participating gyms (E-GYM wellpass), as well as mobile massage devices. You can also seek advice on how to make your workplace healthier. For example, you can arrange a preventative appointment with the university doctor for those working in front of a computer screen.

The Staff Council represents your interests as an employee of the University of Bremen. Representatives from administration, technology, and academia sit on the Staff Council and are there to provide guidance if you have any problems and listen to your feedback.
