Continuing Education Master’s

Would you like to acquire a master's degree while continuing your career and combine theory with professional practice? A master's degree opens up new career opportunities.

You can participate if you have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant work experience.

A part-time master's degree for employees takes at least 2 years to complete, carries 120 CP, and concludes with a master's thesis. With a master's degree, you acquire an academic degree that entitles you to enter doctoral studies.

Continuing Education Certificate Courses and Programs

You want to expand your professional skills or open up access to a new area? Then how about a continuing education course or study program? You can conclude both formats with a certificate from the University of Bremen.

Continuing education courses range from 12 to 21 CP: A continuing education study program encompasses at least 22 and a maximum of 60 CP.

Modular studies LIFE

LIFE stands for innovative, flexible and successful learning. With LIFE you can take part in selected modules taught in regular university programs, take exams, and acquire credit points. LIFE is aimed at working people, jobseekers and career returnees. Whether individual modules or more extensive certificate programs – you decide yourself how much time and resources you want to invest in your further education. We offer you competence and knowledge acquisition based on current research and stimulating interaction in heterogeneous learning groups.

At present, the innovative modular studies LIFE is still in the test phase and special rules apply.

Seminars

Scientifically sound answers to professional challenges: Our seminars will help you to do this. They are often carried out together with partners from the practice.

Seminars cover 12 to 160 classes and conclude with a qualified certificate of attendance.
