They have traveled to the University of Bremen to study here for one or two semesters. In order to make their start as pleasant and easy as possible, the university greeted them with a reception as part of the welcome event – which included breakfast together in the Mensa cafeteria.
The Vice President for International Affairs, Academic Qualification, and Diversity, Dr. Mandy Boehnke, welcomed the exchange students. The event, organized by the International Office, was all about getting to know each other and offering a first glimpse into life at the University of Bremen.
The Languages Centre and the Erasmus Initiative also introduced themselves and the support and learning facilities they provide. The breakfast was followed by guided tours, during which the international students got to know the campus.
