Description
The academic subject of History deals with social, economic, political and cultural changes throughout history. As historical change cannot be directly experienced, History makes the past accessible through the methodical, guided and theoretically reflected analysis of sources. The goal of academic research is to make “true” statements about historical occurrences and to question the conditions and the possibilities of such statements.
