Meeting

Recap of fourth meeting in Vienna (September 20th & 21st)

We felt very welcomed and thank WU Vienna for the generous support of the workshop!

The fourth network meeting took place from September 20-21 at WU Vienna. We felt very welcomed and thank WU Vienna for the generous support of the workshop!

Besides the breathtaking campus architecture and yummy (and rather macro) Wiener Schnitzel we enjoyed two days packed with scholarly debate on the microfoundations of institutions. Network members presented their work in progress and keynotes were given by Mary Ann Glynn (Boston College) and Tammar Zilber (Hebrew University of Jerusalem).

We finished our two-day workshop reflecting on how the microfoundations agenda can be advanced in the future. 2019 will see the publication of the RSO double volume on “Microfoundations of Institutions” which we hope will become an influential contribution to the field. Additionally, there will be further workshops and activities which we will announce on this website.

If you are interested in the microfoundations network and its future activities, please contact us.
