Safety Event With Fire Drill (English) (Master)

Compulsory event! One-off event. IMPORTANT!

At the University of Bremen, students of degree programs with practical laboratory content may only begin laboratory work after attending this event (lecture and fire drill).

This applies to first-year students for the following master degree programs:
* Applied Geosciences
* Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
* Communication and Information Technology
* Control, Microsystems and Microelectronics
* Ecology
* Environmental Physics
* Marine Biology
* Marine Microbiology
* Marine Geosciences
* Natural Sciences for Sustainability
* Neurosciences
* Physical Geography: Environmental History
* Space Engineering
* Space Sciences and Technologies

Advanced students who have changed universities and Master's degree programs with practical laboratory content must also take part in the fire safety training course.

The course consists of two parts:
LECTURE
Lecture by the "Occupational Safety, Hazardous Substances, Biological Safety, Radiation Protection and Disposal" department of the University of Bremen
Please arrive on time for the lecture! Admission: half an hour before the start of the event.

FIRE DRILL
The practical fire drill will take place outdoors afterwards (practice area Emmy-Noether-Str.). Therefore, please arrive on time with weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes!
