About Us

Green Office - what does that mean?

We, the Green Office of the University of Bremen, have been supporting students and other members of the university in their commitment to sustainability and the socio-ecological transformation on campus since 2022.

In addition, we participate as an advisory member in meetings of the Advisory Board for Sustainable Campus Operations (BNC), the Commission for Sustainability, Climate Justice and Climate Neutrality (NKK) and the ‘Steering Committee Mission Statement’.

How did we come about?
On the initiative of the student members of the Commission for Sustainability, Climate Justice and Climate Neutrality, the Green Office was set up as a pilot process of the sustainability strategy in October 2022.

The team
There are currently four of us working in the Green Office. These are Jeroen and Janina as research assistants and J. and Mira as student assistants.
