Born in Turkey, studied at Vocational Maritime High School and continued with Psychology BA at Yaşar University in Izmir, Turkey. Since October 2021, he has been enrolled in M.Sc. Neurosciences at the University of Bremen. During the scope of this program, he has completed an internship on Conscious Animal Positron Emission Tomography (RatCAP) under supervision of Associate Professor Daniela Schulz, at the Boğaziçi University. He completed another internship on EEG recording and data analysis of Sustained Attention to Response Task at the Izmir University of Economics under supervision of Prof. Canan Basar-Eroglu. Currently, under supervision of Dr. Florian Ahrens and Prof. Dr. Dr. Manfred Herrmann, he is writing his master’s thesis on neural correlates of every day behaviors in virtual kitchen, which is a part of EASE fMRI studies, and he is working as a student assistant at the Cognitive Neuroinformatics, University of Bremen, where he is responsible for virtual reality setups and experiments for EASE studies.
