(AKAD34) Keep talking - our world in conversation

This course is designed to enable participants to engage in discussions on a variety of common themes in English. The introduction of relevant vocabulary, including conversational language structures, is provided throughout the activities in class. Some examples of topics dealt with include current affairs, world events and popular discussion themes. The use of interesting and challenging written, audio and visual resources will cater for a diversity of activities that are sure to keep everyone talking. Participants are invited to do presentations on subjects of their choice.

To take part in the course you should be able to have a conversation at an intermediate or higher level about everyday and general themes in English. With the activities in class you will have the chance to revise important functional language and practise for more advanced situations.
