Decisions

The lecture series Universal Properties of decision-making started in the summer of 2016. Its goal was to create an interdisciplinary platform for discussion on the basic universal mechanisms of decision-making across the species.

Information and structure

Thanks to our participation in the German National Research Data Infrastructure initiative (NFDI), our lectures gained a new focus. In the new lecture series, "Information and Structure" we would like initiate a transdisciplinary discussion about the relations between data, information and knowledge. In the time of rapid climate change, exponential technical advancement and socio-political instability, a dialogue between various scientific disciplines becomes particularly important in order to come up with innovative solutions. For this reason, we would like to invite scientists with various academic backgrounds to discuss and exchange knowledge.
