    and teach the pupils how exciting physics can be.

The Master's phase teaches physics didactics and theoretical physics. At the University of Bremen the primary topics in physics didactic research are the modelling and measurement of competence in physics and the ways of explaining physics in physics lessons. This opens up a wide range of opportunities for students to take part in current research in their subject and in didactics.

The course specifically prepares students for an teachings prctice as a teacher of physics at grammar schools and secondary schools. Further conceivable fields of activity include university research or educational administration, as well as fields involving the communication of physical and technical issues to the general public (scientific journalism, public relations work in companies).

    - B.Sc. in Physics or a comparable scientific degree
    - language skills: German at least level C1 (CEFR), English at least level C1 (CEFR)
