Lehramtsstudium international: Mainstreaming Diversity and Inclusion
Since 2019, the project "Internationalising Teacher Training: Mainstreaming Diversity and Inclusion" (DAAD) has been pursuing the goal of providing all student teachers with international and transcultural experiences. Its focus lies on internationalising teaching in the department and on making student mobility processes easier, particularly in the context of mandatory teaching placements.

The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto has a unique expertise in teacher training in the context of migration as well as inter-/transculturality and minorities (especially First Nation). The perspective of a critical pedagogy constitutes a subject-specific link to the area of 'intercultural education' at the University of Bremen.
