Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw the contract in text form (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) within fourteen days without giving reasons.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the University of Bremen receives your application for admission (declaration of intent). Timely dispatch of the withdrawal is sufficient to comply with the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal
In case of an effective withdrawal, the services received by both parties must be returned and any benefits derived (e.g. interest charges) surrendered. If you are unable to return the goods or services received as well as benefits (e.g. benefits of use) in whole or in part or only in a deteriorated condition, you may have to compensate us for the value. This may mean that you must nevertheless fulfill the contractual payment obligations for the period up to the withdrawal.
Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for you with the dispatch of your declaration of withdrawal, for us with its receipt.
