Research

My research interests encompass a holistic approach to understanding water-rock interactions within Earth's systems. My interdisciplinary approach integrates chemical, biological, hydrogeological, mineralogical and engineering methodologies. Specifically, my key areas of interest include:

  1. Source, Transport, and Fate of Potentially Toxic Elements: I focus on the behavior of toxic elements, particularly arsenic, in both natural and anthropogenic environments.
  2. Advancement of Analytical Methods: I aim to develop and refine techniques in aqueous and litho-geochemistry to enhance our understanding of geochemical processes.
  3. Shallow-Water Hydrothermal Systems: I study the dynamics and properties of these unique environments, contributing to broader knowledge in geochemistry and hydrogeology.
