The Departments of Early Modern History, Latin American History and Modern and Contemporary History invite doctoral students and internationally renowned professors to present their current research projects.
Dr Bruno Rodrigues de Lima from the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory will kick things off on 23 October 2024 with a lecture on ‘Luiz Gama: A Global History of Abolitionism’. During the winter semester, further research projects from the history of Latin America will be presented by Prof. Dr Ricardo Borrmann (University of Bremen/Université de Neuchâtel), Prof. Dr Christine Vogel (University of Vechta) and Prof. Kristina Schulz (Université de Neuchâtel).
The research colloquium always takes place on Wednesdays from 6-8 pm in GW2 in room B 2880.
