Yannik Wiechers completed his Bachelor of Science in 2017 and in 2018 his Master of Science at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. He ran a validation study of the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire as part of his Master’s Thesis with Dutch patients of a forensic institution as participants.
Since March 2019, Yannik Wiechers works as a research assistant in the working group on Personality Psychology and Psychological Assessment at the University of Bremen and collaborates in the SPeADy research project (to the project's website).
His research interests include the interactions between personality traits and the occurrence and subjective experience of stress.
