Katrina Stollmann
Katrina ("Kate") Stollmann has been an English lecturer and coordinator at "Sprachenzentrum der Hochschulen im Land Bremen (SZHB)" since 2008.
"I love learning languages because it broadens your perception of the world."
New York, Sarajevo, Moscow - Bremen. Katrina ("Kate") Stollmann was at home in many places around the world before she came to Bremen 19 years ago. She experienced first-hand how enriching an exchange with new people in a foreign language can be for one's own life and conveys this passionately in her language courses and the individual coaching services she offers as an employee of the "Sprachenzentrum der Hochschulen im Land Bremen (SZHB)" (Language Centre in the state of Bremen). At the centre of her methodologically and content-wise diverse offers is her desire to be, above all, a "stimulator for successful communication". She enjoys the ever-exciting challenge of helping her clients feel more confident in speaking and writing in the foreign language and thus successfully communicating their respective research topics.
As a mum of two little boys, she enjoys spending her free time jogging or cycling in Bremen's many green spaces or trying out new cooking recipes for her family and friends.
