On October 29, 2019, the annual executive breakfast at the University of Bremen took place in the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics. After the Rector and the Dean of the Faculty welcomed more than 100 participants, two newly appointed professors - Johanna Myrzik (Electrical Engineering) and Lauri Wessel (Business Administration) - presented their research and transfer activities.

In a setting modelled on the start-up scene, twelve projects oft he Faculty then had the opportunity to present their work to an interested audience in one-minute pitches.

The BreLAB presented itself as a laboratory with a dual function, as it - so far unique - offers the execution of classical behavioural economic experiments (Research Lab) and participatory research designs (Policy Lab) under one roof.
