9th International Conference on Dynamics in Logistics - February 14 - 16, 2024 in Bremen, Germany
About LDIC
LDIC 2024
LDIC 2024 was a success. Many thanks to all participants for their interest and contribution to the scientific dialog!
The International Conference on Dynamics in Logistics (LDIC) is a biennial conference organized by the Bremen Research Cluster for Dynamics in Logistics (LogDynamics) at the University of Bremen.
LogDynamics is a cooperating network of several research groups from different faculties of the University of Bremen. It conducts research on logistics, an international doctoral training program, and a bidirectional transfer of knowledge and technology between industry and academia. LogDynamics combines research into business processes, IT, production engineering and electrical engineering to solve logistics problems in an interdisciplinary and cooperative manner.
The idea of the LDIC conference series reflects this interdisciplinary approach of LogDynamics. The international conference addresses scientists in logistics, operations research, engineering, and computer science. It aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners interested in dynamics in logistics. Through this interdisciplinary approach, the conference creates the opportunity to foster a holistic view on logistics.
Since the first LDIC in 2007, the conference was able to attract great interest from researchers and practitioners. Throughout the years, more than 140 participants per conference shared their expertise and discussed future and present problems of logistics research. The results are compiled into the conference proceedings, which are published by Springer and are part of the Lecture Notes in Logistics series.
