Living on Campus

Do you want to live in a student residence, a shared flat, or with parents? Of course, only you decide where and how you want to live: You have access to the entire Bremen housing market.

In the immediate vicinity of the campus or at various locations in Bremen, both the Studierendenwerk Bremen [Student services bureau] and private providers offer individual apartments and shared housing. Often the housing question boils down to the size of your purse. The following gives a rough overview of your options.

Beware of Rental Scams

If you are offered housing on the private market and are asked to transfer larger sums in advance, it could be a rental scam. Scammers especially target international students who are not yet in Germany. If you are an international students and have any doubts about an offer, you can contact the International Office.
