Postdoc Appreciation Week: BYRD Postdoc Network Groups after work

After Work Meeting for members of the BYRD Postdoc Network Groups and all interested researchers

Inspired by Postdoc Appreciation Weeks in the USA and the UK, a similar initiative was launched in Germany in 2022. The aim is to focus on postdocs for a week, to make their achievements in research and teaching, but also their needs visible, and to bundle events for this target group throughout Germany.

BYRD takes part in the second Postdoc Appreciation Week (September 18 - 22) and cordially invites you to a networking event:
BYRD supports postdocs at the University of Bremen who are doing research on similar topics and would like to set up joint projects. Once you are recognized by BYRD as a network, you can apply for funding of up to €2,500 per year for activities. At our after-work meeting (September 19), we invite all active networks share their projects and ideas over a drink in a relaxed atmosphere and, of course, anyone interested to learn more and make contacts for a new network. The BYRD team will be present and happy to answer questions about establishing a postdoc network, but also about other issues related to the postdoc phase at U Bremen.

International researchers are very welcome!
