Research
The Center for Decision Research, founded in 2018, aims to provide an institutionalized space for researchers from various disciplines. It serves as a forum for exchange on interdisciplinary, collaborative and innovative research projects – from the early phases of new project ideas and the application for research grants to the actual collaborative research.
Decision research is a genuinely interdisciplinary endeavour. It includes research from disciplines with a long tradition of decision-centered research – like psychology and economics – as well as studies in fields from the natural sciences and engineering.
Our interdisciplinary thematic working groups focus on questions like “experimental decision research”, “decision-making in human-machine-interaction” and “decision-making in crisis”. They offer an innovative and future-oriented perspective on fundamental questions of decision-making.
