The research paper of Prof. Dr. Lars Hornuf and Theresa Kück in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Armin Schwienbacher (SKEMA Business School) has been posted in the Oxford Business Law Blog. The blog is run by the Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford and reaches more than 20,000 readers from over 170 different countries every month. In their working paper Initial Coin Offerings, Information Disclosure, and Fraud the authors examine the fraud in the ICO market. To reduce the risk of fraud, they conclude that a specialized platform or the involvement of professional investors are necessary. Both could verify the quality of the project through a due diligence.
