Nursing and Nappy-Changing-Facilities
In almost every building there is a nappy-changing facility – these are mainly located in the accessible toilets, if this is not possible, they are usually found in the women’s restrooms.
The list of nappy-changing facilities (in German) provides information about where there are nappy-changing facilities in which buildings. Nursing rooms are located in GW2 building (first aid room of GW2, please collect your key from the checkout in the cafeteria) and in the first aid room of the MZH building (Room 1170).
Family Room
The family room is located directly opposite the Mensa cafeteria in the former KiTa building, right next to several childcare facilities. Equipped with sofas, tables, and toys, the family room offers parents and children enough space to take a break, to study with their children, or to meet fellow students.
Play corner in the cafeteria (GW 2)
There is a large wooden playpen with toys in the cafeteria in GW 2. Here parents meet with children to play and chat. There is also a microwave to warm up baby and toddler food.
Play corner in the "Uni-Mensa"
In the lower area of the cafeteria (with a view of the lake) there is a large, versatile children's play island. Young and old children will find age-appropriate physical "challenges" here. In addition to the play area, there are also high chairs.
