About the person

Jenny Bredull has been working as project manager in the Faculty of Educational Sciences since 2019, since 2020 she has been responsible for managing the DAAD project

 Lehramt International: Reflecting Diversity and Inclusion .

She completed her BA in Media and Cultural Studies and English Literary Studies at Middlesex University, UK and her MA in Media and Communications at Goldsmiths College, University of London, UK (Master's thesis on the topic of pop cultural negotiations of lesbian/gay and queer politics, supervisor Prof. Dr. Sara Ahmed), and gained several years of enriching experience on many levels as a research student in the Department of Gender Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK (doctoral research on the topic of alternative families?, meanings of LSBTQ families in the socio-cultural mainstream, supervisor Prof. Dr. Clare Hemmings). Her main areas of interest were diversity, gender, intersectionality, queer studies, postcolonial studies and intimacy.

Jenny Bredull worked as a postgraduate research assistant in psychosocial studies with Prof. Dr. Sasha Roseneil at Birkbeck College London/Essex University. At LSE she was responsible for organizing events in the areas of gender and diversity. For many years, she worked as indexer and editor of academic literature. She finally decided to return to Bremen and found her academic home at the interface between content- and organizational work in academic project management.
