The 'I' in film is almost always autobiographical. Filmic self-portraitures convey concepts of identity that may lead as far as imagining oneself as a whole boyband. Diary films tell tales of living experiences and experienced life, show psychic dispositions as well as reflect artistic careers in a constraining culture. The life-threatening  desease of a close friend forms the background of a poetic travelogue. The 'I' in films can take many forms.
