On 20th March 2012 the fooldance company will be holding a performance of contemporary dance  on the campus. The show is part of the annual “TANZ Bremen” event.

This year‘s international “TANZ Bremen” festival will also come to the university campus. During the outdoor performance on the university Boulevard, the fooldance company will present a 20-minute chorography entitled “Atempausen” (pauses for breath). Two female and three male dancers will be performing a particularly arduous dance, the focal point of which is a multipurpose ladder. One of the dancers is Markus Hoft, who is also responsible for the choreography.

For almost 20 years, “TANZ Bremen” has been one of Bremen’s annual cultural highlights. Between 16th and 25th March this year, dancers and ensembles from the region and from abroad will be demonstrating what they can do at different locations in the town. The festival of contemporary dance is accompanied by a number of interesting lectures, talks, and workshops.
Spectators will be able to see the dance performance on 20th March at 12.00 p.m. in front of the main restaurant hall, and once again at 12.30. There is no charge for attending the event.
