Exploring the Political Agency of Forced Migrants with Diverse SOGIESC in Uganda and Lebanon
Since mid-2023, the Gerda Henkel Foundation has been funding Philipp Schulz's new research project entitled “Exploring the political agency of forced migrants with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) in Uganda and Lebanon”. The project runs for 2 years, from 2023 to 2024, and examines the experiences of queer refugees in two countries - Uganda and Lebanon - with a special focus on their political agency.
