AutoDrohn

The contribution of this sub-project is to enable autonomous control and animal detection in the field using a drone to protect wildlife during harvesting and to prevent accidents and damage to agricultural machinery. Real-time animal detection solutions will be developed using state-of-the-art computer vision and sensor fusion algorithms using data from RADAR, RGB and IR cameras mounted on the drone. Autonomous control of the drone is achieved using model-based controllers that enable intelligent and optimal navigation of the drone.
