The basics of data protection according to GDPR - online Course
Compliance with data protection in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an important requirement for data processing in companies and other organizations and must guarantee the right of data subjects to informational selfdetermination. These requirements create obligations for those involved in data collection and processing, such as employees, data controllers and processors. These responsibilities can only be fulfilled with the appropriate knowledge. This workshop provides the necessary basics for the practical implementation of data protection in accordance to GDPR in company organizations and also at home office. Practical exercises will enable participants to work on selected data protection issues as a team.

About the lecturer:
Selma Gebhardt, graduated political economist, is an auditor (AQMA®-TÜV) and data protection officer (DSB-TÜV), quality manager (TÜV), environmental and occupational health and safety management officer (TÜV). She is a lecturer for data protection, compliance and management systems at the University of Bremen.
At Rosenholz Quality Consulting in Berlin, she develops management systems for certification according to international standards.
