The individual curriculum
The individual curriculum
Process-oriented materials research, ProMat for short, is an interdisciplinary master's degree program that differs significantly from other courses of study at the University of Bremen due to its unique study plan. An individual curriculum can be put together within a given module structure from a wide range of courses offered by the core courses anchored in the MAPEX Center for Materials and Processes. The open curriculum offers the greatest possible freedom in designing one's own course of study around the individual study or research focus. Thus, ProMat is a goal-oriented preparation for a doctorate as well as further steps in an academic career.
Examples of individual curricula from ProMat students and graduates:
- Materialmodellierung (Manuel Vollbrecht) (in German)
- Elektrochemische Bio-Verfahrenstechnik (Alenica Heußner) (in German)
- Faserverbundwerkstoffe (Jan Yorrick Dietrich) (in German)
- Funktionale Oberflächenstrukturen - Materialbearbeitung (Reinhard Iseke) (in German)
- Theorie und Simulation von Festkörpern (Erik Macke) (in German)
- Werkstofftechnik polymerer Werkstoffe (Eike Krull) (in German)
- Chemische Verfahrenstechnik mit Fokus auf Trenntechnik und Analytik (Lena Ehlers) (in German)
- Elektrochemische Energiesysteme (Tim Klotz) (in German)
