Klara Pechtel
Klara Pechtel works as a research assistant at the University of Bremen in the interdisciplinary project GenDivInfo, which addresses dimensions of diversity and in particular gender/sex in the health care system.
She studied International Cultural and Business Studies in Passau and Transcultural Studies in Bremen, both of which included stays abroad in Ireland, including at the Edward M Kennedy Institute for Conflict Intervention, where she gained experience in peace and conflict resolution.
Her academic focus is on intersectionality research and postcolonial-oriented literary and cultural studies, especially in the field of critical diversity studies and gender as an interdependent category.
