Alumni der Universität Bremen - Alumni association since 2006
The Alumni der Universität Bremen e.V. association is the University of Bremen's official interdepartmental alumni network. In April 1998, the first central, interdisciplinary contact office for graduates was established within the university's administration.
In 2006, the alumni network was reorganized as an association and has since been run autonomously by a volunteer board of directors comprised of alumni. Since then, there has been a cooperation agreement in place between the university and the alumni association.
The university and the alumni network aim to work side by side to expand and reinforce relationships. The association maintains contact with graduates on behalf of the university and promotes non-profit research and teaching.
