The CHI 2023 will take place in Hamburg this year. We are pleased to be represented several times:
Thomas Mildner will give talks on "About Engaging and Governing Strategies: A Thematic Analysis of Dark Patterns in Social Networking Services", where the underlying paper was awarded an Honorable Mention, and on "Dark Patterns and the Emerging Threats of Deceptive Design Practices".
From the context of the BMBF-funded project VIVATOP, Anke Reinschlüssel and Thomas Münder are presenting at the interactivity "Versatile Immersive Virtual and Augmented Tangible OR - Using VR, AR and Tangibles to Support Surgical Practice".
Michael Bonfert will present the paper VRisbee: How Hand Visibility Impacts Throwing Accuracy and Experience in Virtual Reality, which he co-authored, at a poster session.
In addition, our colleagues Tanja Döring, Rainer Malaka, Michael Bonfert, Thomas Mildner, Robert Porzel and Nima Zargham are co-authors on a number of other papers.
We are happy about your success, and have fun at the German Party!
