The Digital Media Lab at the Summer School of the Leibniz ScienceCampus Digital Public Health

Our colleague Dr Anke Reinschlüssel, who works as a PostDoc in the Leibniz ScienceCampus Digital Public Health project in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology - BIPS, gave a lecture on Monday at their SummerSchool with the title "Designing the Digital in Digital Public Health Interventions (DiPH) - Introduction to design concepts used in HCI for creating digital tools". It is about the methods and concepts of HCI and the importance of usability and UX in this context.

On Wednesday, we welcome the participants of the Summer School here in the Digital Media Lab for a short lab tour and a demo session. The VR prototypes of the VIVATOP project, the heart rate zone feedback by Bastian Dänekas, the SelfVReflect application by Nadine Wagener, and a demo of the height anxiety simulator 'The Plank' presented by Michael Bonfert will be demonstrated.

We hope everyone enjoys their visit to the Lab.
