Nomination of Candidates

Election Proposal

In order to participate in the decision-making processes in the Academic Senate and the Faculty Councils as a member or deputy and to represent the interests of their own status group, interested parties must apply:

Only those who are listed in an election proposal can be elected. Election proposals can be submitted as an individual application, as a list application or as a list combination (see §11 Election Regulations, only available in German). Each candidate can only be named in one election proposal for each of the two elections (Academic Senate or Faculty Council). In terms of individual voting rights, it is important that the persons are actually eligible to vote in the status group and in the body for which the candidacy is sought.

The submission deadline for election proposals is 12 May 2025 at 3:00 pm and needs to be addressed to the Returning Officer (VWG, room 2190), using the forms provided below or in the appropriate form. Digital submission (as a PDF) by email to the Returning Officer will also be accepted.

The nomination forms can be found here (in German):

After the deadline and once the submissions have been checked, the nominations approved by the election commission will be published on this page.

Please note that the Academic Senate and the Faculty Councils usually hold their meetings in German. For further information, please contact the responsible administrator.

If you have any questions about the election proposals in general, the form and the procedure, please contact the Returning Officer.
