As of 2019, Nora Albu has been accepted as a Research Assistant and PhD candidate in the working group of Prof. Dr. Jutta Günther at the University of Bremen. She studied Political Theory at the London School of Economics and Economics at the Freie Universität Berlin (M.Sc. 2009 and M.A. 2013). Beginning in October 2013, she has worked as a research associate at WifOR institute in Berlin in the field of value added and sustainability analyses. For her PhD, she is contributing to structural research within the field of input-output analysis, especially regarding changes in the trading relations between Germany and France.
