Research
Shaping health for all
The researchers at our institute conduct research on a wide range of issues in the fields of public health and nursing research. Evidence-based, user-oriented, practice-relevant, gender-sensitive, and application-oriented research are central guiding principles.
The research profile of the IPP includes Global health, health promotion and prevention, epidemiological methods and disease etiology, health care and nursing, environmental justice and the professionalisation of health care. Health and health care equity and participation are central to our research. The IPP focuses on the development of (inter)national, evidence-based and practice-relevant analyses, intervention concepts as well as quality assurance and evaluation measures for different levels of health promotion and health and nursing care.
