Transfer

Möwen Schlachte

Together for a sustainable future

In our research and teaching, we address urgent questions from the practice of public health and nursing, develop innovative measures with our cooperation partners and accompany their implementation. In our public relations work, we present the results of our research for discussion. Our transfer activities are based on mutual exchange, dialogue and joint initiatives with actors from society, health care and politics. Our research provides the basis for innovation in health and nursing care, in prevention and health promotion, and in the training of health care professionals. We cooperate with numerous partners from practice, politics and society to make knowledge usable and to find solutions to current issues. Our transfer activities are designed to be dialogical and interactive with our partners.

In the area of transfer-oriented research we address e.g. research on science transfer, implementation and dissemination research, transfer-oriented research (e.g. reallabs, patient involvement & co-production), community-based research, participatory research as well as application-oriented research. In the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Public Health and the Master's programs in Nursing Science, research-based learning and practical projects, often with regional partners, are an integral part of the teaching and learning concept.
