Language learning at the University of Bremen
Internationality has been a key objective of the University of Bremen ever since it was founded in 1971. The University is now a global player and integrated into a great many global networks. It aims to give its students a global perspective by offering them a broad spectrum of study programmes with an international focus, and to offer researchers from all over the world ideal conditions for excellent research and teaching. The University helps its international community to learn German and become familiar with German culture by offering German courses, some of which are free of charge, and an academic plurilingualism programme.
