Peformance Certificates
Recognition of achievements (certificates/credits)
Dear students,
As a general rule, students who have not registered for the examination in the respective course cannot receive a performance certificate (Schein)!
Below is a summary of the procedure for registering for examinations:
Registration and deregistration deadlines:
- Winter semester: registration December 10 - January 10; deregistration by January 31
- Summer semester: June 10 - June 30
Please note: deviations are possible for some cooperative study programs or in the area of General Studies.
Registration for upcoming examinations in the summer and winter semester takes place online via the examination management system Pabo / FlexNow.
Only students who cannot register via PABO can receive a performance certificate.
If you have problems registering via Pabo / Stud.IP, please contact your examination office in good time. In the event of technical problems, a separate form must be completed. You can find it here
Participation in examinations is only possible after approval by the examiners!
In order to meet the requirements for a Master's application as an advanced student, Master's modules must already be completed during the Bachelor's degree program. These achievements are referred to as early achievements (bridging solution).
Successful completion is confirmed with a performance certificate (Schein).
From now on, these credits can be submitted as part of the Master's degree program without applying for recognition.
The prerequisites for this are that the student is enrolled in the relevant Master's degree program and that the performance certificate meets the usual criteria.
Submission of credits to LEMEX
If you absolutely need a performance certificate and this has been approved by the lecturer, the performance certificate that you have filled out in advance will be collected at the beginning of the registration period for the examinations at a time specified by the lecturer at the start of the course and collected in the LEMEX office. Once the grade has been determined, the performance certificate will be filled out and sealed by us.
You can find the form for the performance certificates of the individual examination offices here and here (Leistungsnachweis Prüfungsamt im Fachbereich 3)
As soon as all performance certificates are complete, you will receive two appointments to collect them in person on presentation of your certificate of enrolment. Electronic or postal delivery is not possible. Students can submit their performance certificate by post or by dropping it in the mailbox at the relevant examination office.
Performance certificates that are not collected will be destroyed after the archiving period has expired.
The performance certificate must in particular
- show the module title according to the examination regulations (or examination schedule). Please do not include any course titles, as these cannot be assigned to the module
- certify the complete CP of the module
- be signed by hand by the module supervisor/examiner,
- contain a seal, and
- certify the successful completion of a (complete) module.
Erasmus students / international guest students outside ERASMUS
Registration takes place via a Learning Agreement, which is coordinated with Ms. Cinar, Department 7, (cinar[at]uni-bremen.de) and the students.
