The University Orchestra

The orchestra was established around the same time the University was founded: 1971. It is a full symphony orchestra with between 70 and 95 members. It is made up of students belonging to the University’s 12 different Faculties and members of the other universities in Bremen that have no orchestra of their own as well as alumni, administration staff, and good friends made over the course of time.

Rehearsals: Rehearsals take place every Tuesday from 7 p.m. till 9.45 p.m. in the GW1 lecture hall. In addition, two rehearsal weekends are held each semester.
