Hamidreza Farhat
Hamidreza Farhat is a PhD researcher at the University of Bremen. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Language and Literature from Urmia University and Tabriz Azad University, respectively. Additionally, he obtained a second Master’s degree in Media and Visual Studies from Bilkent University in Ankara.
His research focuses on the intersection of contemporary events, their social media manifestations, and their impact on visual representations. By analyzing real-life incidents, he explores analogical reflections across various media forms, ranging from fictitious dystopian universes to non-fictional characters. His investigations extend to news coverage and social network analysis within online platforms.
Currently, Hamidreza’s work centers on identifying response variations among the masses across diverse social and political contexts, as well as in different geographical regions and countries. His research aims to uncover potential patterns and changes in societal reactions.
