Richard's talk will be in UFT 1790 on Friday, 26 October, 2 pm c.t.
His talk will cover nanoparticle detection with a focus on particle agglomeration. A highlight of his research is the detection of nanoparticles through the quantification of single impact events using microelectrodes. Another focus will be the mechanisms of toxic action of nanoparticles. By developing new electrochemical measurement techniques, it is hoped that the mechanism of action can be better understood, along with possible environmental implications.
