19th General Meeting
The 19th Alumni General Meeting on November 26th was well-attended despite the typical Bremen drizzle. The host was Dr. Tim Nesemann, who welcomed us in the Campusspace of the Sparkasse – a modern workspace and meeting area that perfectly matched the atmosphere of the event.
After the internal club matters were presented and the resolutions of the meeting were passed, a lively discussion developed among the members. Various aspects were at the forefront, such as event proposals, measures to attract new members, and the use of social media channels for networking. The exchange highlighted the diversity of ideas and the high level of engagement among the participants.
Dr. Tim Nesemann then presented the innovative NEW WORK concept of the Sparkasse. This operating concept, introduced in 2020, focuses on horizontal hierarchies, flexible teams, and a new, continuously evolving work culture. The room design fosters communication and allows for flexible working styles – with open spaces, no fixed desks, and areas for collaboration or focused work. The concept has been successful – the Sparkasse ranks highly in various rankings.
Overall, the general meeting was an inspiring and productive event, demonstrating how important the exchange and engagement of our alumni are. We look forward to the next year!
