Alumni Cooperation with Jacobs University Bremen

Few know this: The University of Bremen played a part in the founding of the Jacobs University Bremen about twenty years ago – then still called International University Bremen. Since then, a large degree of collaboration exists in research and teaching. And now, the alumni associations of both institutions have agreed to collaborate as well. Both associations’ executive boards have had multiple meetings, and at a joint online event in early May, the conversations between members from various continents were very lively. Joint focus: Bremen as a scientific location. Abroad, local networks and relationships to people from Bremen are strengthened through the collaboration of our chapters.
