Obituary Norbert Schröder

It is with deep sadness that we have to inform you that our member Norbert ‘Nobby’ Schröder passed away suddenly in Oktober 2019 at the age of 63. Norbert Schröder had led our regional group in Munich for many years.

After an apprenticeship as a shipping businessman, the Bremen native obtained a graduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen. He studied economics at the University of Bremen between 1986 and 1989. He first used his diploma in economics at different medium-sized businesses in Bremen before moving to South Germany in 2000, where he supervised global IT projects at a large industrial group in Munich. Additionally, he weighed in with his profound IT knowledge as a volunteer at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and at the European Championship 2008 in Austria.

Due to his commitment to the Bremen Alumni in Munich, he remained closely connected to the University of Bremen all his life. We are immensely grateful to him.
