Facing Brexit with Collaboration

The universities of Bremen and Cardiff are entering a strategic partnership. It is their goal to promote joint research activities and collaboration in the areas of media and communication sciences, marine sciences, literature, social sciences, and history.

“By cooperating with a British university, we are countering Brexit and the growing isolation in Europe with exchange and networking,” Professor Bernd Scholz-Reiter, Rector of the Univeristy of Bremen, stated. Senator of Science Eva Quante-Brandt was also pleased with the cosmopolitanism and pro-European stance in Bremen.
