Environmental exposures to persistent substances indoors.
The sampling technique for house dust is currently insufficiently established and the exposure assessment controversial.
Using the example of three substance groups that have received little attention so far in indoor environments - bisphenols, alkylphenols and their ethoxylates, and PFOS & PFAS - the principles of indoor house dust sampling are to be modernized and the chemical analysis of the persistent pollutants mentioned is to be developed.
The aim is to record and evaluate the exposure situation for the above-mentioned pollutants in private and public indoor spaces.
