Mathematics Education for Secondary Level

Since October 2013 Daniela Schansker is PhD student at the University of Bremen. In her dissertation she examines empirically and from a semiotic perspective, how a digital place value chart on the iPad could be used for the extension of the place value system from natural to decimal numbers.
